Meet
Antaysia Thomas, LCSW
Welcome
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Clinical Supervisor, Adjunct Professor, and Founder of Youth Life Services, a group private practice dedicated to helping individuals build healthier, more fulfilling lives. My passion is creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, supported, and empowered to heal.
As a therapist, I work with children, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, trauma, stress, burnout, self-esteem concerns, and personal growth. My approach is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based. I believe therapy is not about "fixing" people but helping them reconnect with their resilience, gain insight, and develop practical tools to move forward with confidence.
I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness practices, and trauma-informed care. Together, we identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck while building strategies that align with your values and goals. My goal is to create a supportive environment where you can explore challenges honestly while feeling encouraged and empowered throughout the process.
In addition to providing therapy, I serve as a Clinical Supervisor for aspiring social workers and mental health professionals pursuing licensure. I am passionate about developing the next generation of clinicians and helping them build confidence, clinical competence, ethical decision-making skills, and sustainable careers in the helping professions.
As an Adjunct Professor, I enjoy teaching and mentoring future social workers. Education has always been an important part of my work, and I love helping students connect classroom knowledge with real-world practice while encouraging critical thinking, self-awareness, and professional growth.
Outside of my professional roles, I believe deeply in practicing the wellness principles I encourage others to embrace. I enjoy running, cycling, yoga, traveling, attending community events, exploring new cities, spending time outdoors, and prioritizing personal growth and self-care. Whether training for a race, planning my next adventure, or enjoying meaningful connections with friends and family, I strive to cultivate a balanced and intentional life.
I consider it an honor to walk alongside individuals as they navigate life's challenges and discover their own path toward healing, growth, and well-being.
I look forward to connecting with you.
